Find a date after a stated number of working days, skipping weekends and your holiday list.
Common uses
- Find a date after a stated number of working days, skipping weekends and your holiday list.
How it works
Advance one calendar date at a time; increment count only for configured weekdays excluding supplied holidays. Calendar arithmetic uses the proleptic Gregorian calendar. Explicit calendar dates are independent of local daylight-saving changes. Month/year additions clamp to the last valid day of the destination month. Timestamp arithmetic requires a stated UTC offset and excludes leap seconds. Working days mean Monday through Friday. Enter holiday dates yourself; no country holiday calendar is assumed.
Worked example
Enter Calendar date: 2024-01-05; Working days to add: 1; Holiday dates (optional): . The result is Date: 2024-01-08.
